The Long Migration

The house began the season with a single line: the flight path of a bird that leaves and returns. Everything else followed from it — the seams that run uninterrupted from shoulder to hem, the coats cut to move ahead of the body, the ornament that repeats but never quite closes.

Wool is spun thin enough to fold into a pocket. Silk is left undyed where the hand-work sits on top of it, so the thread carries the colour instead of the cloth. Nothing in the collection is finished by machine.
