The Corded Waistcoat

A cropped sleeveless waistcoat with a notched lapel, closed by a line of small covered buttons, worn with a matching pencil skirt. Both carry cord embroidery in rust and copper: a narrow band at the waist, and scrolling motifs across the front of the skirt. Photographed before a carved cross-stone.
